'Lana, she’s lost a lot of people, she’s been through a lot,' Vicky explained. 'It’s starting to catch up with her. PTSD, tinnitus, prescription medication, these things are playing a heavy part in her life. So it’s a tricky start for Lana, for sure.'
The new series is set to involve some typically explosive threats, including chemical gases. 'The tagline is “hold your breath”,' said Vicky. 'I used a lot of respirators on this as well, you’ll see that become part of the show, and just putting those on for a scene, it was tricky.' She described the sensation as ‘suffocating’.
A new trailer for the series has also been shared by ITV and Vicky herself, giving a dramatic taster of what we can expect when the hit show returns this weekend.
