We’re always game for a great legal drama and here’s one you may already be familiar with – Damages, the courtroom thriller with a powerhouse Glenn Close in the lead. But if you haven’t had the chance to binge it yet, the shatteringly intense series is coming to ITV’s streaming platform soon – so don’t miss another chance to catch the award-winning drama!
Damages – which premiered in 2007 and ran until 2012 – has been called “one of the most talked-about shows”– and for good reason! It follows ruthless litigator Patty Hewes (Close) and her protégée Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne) who become fierce rivals – but most of the drama, funnily enough, happens outside of the courtroom, with Patty and Ellen engaging in behind-the-scenes scheming and moral compromises. Alongside the two leads, it’s star-packed, with the likes of Ted Danson, Tate Donovan and Ryan Phillippe appearing too.
As we wait for Damages to arrive on our screens, here’s everything you need to know about the series, including the cast, plot and how to watch it.
