We were seeing double (again) as Reese Witherspoon took to Instagram to share a special birthday tribute to her daughter Ava, who is the spitting image of her mum. Reese was celebrating her daughter turning 26 and, while Ava has now dyed her hair a cherry red hue, she still looks undeniably like her mum.

In a sweet new photograph, the mother-daughter 'twins' smile with their arms round each other, and Reese wrote a moving caption to her 'sweet girl' Ava. 'You have changed my life in all the best ways,' she wrote as she wished her a happy birthday, finishing the message with, 'I love you.'

Last month, Reese opened up on social media about what it had been like raising Ava and her two siblings Deacon and Tennessee, while being a busy working mum in Hollywood.
