The second series of Channel 4's "deliciously dark" and “daring” psychological thriller The Couple Next Door is on its way and there are some major twists and turns to get excited about.
As fans of the gripping first series will remember, we saw a couple move to a new neighbourhood and become drawn in by their enticing neighbours. As the couples crossed boundaries and became entwined with each other, things began to unravel at an alarming rate.

What will happen in The Couple Next Door series 2?
The series follows a high-flying pair of doctors - heart surgeon Charlotte Roberts and her husband, consultant anaesthetist Jacob - who have a busy and successful life together.
Then, a mysterious new colleague from the hospital moves into their cul-de-sac and things begin to come undone.
"Working her way into Charlotte and Jacob’s confidence and eventually their bed, Mia also quickly befriends cul-de-sac outcast Alan (Hugh Dennis) whilst Charlotte has to handle the reappearance of past flame Leo (Sendhil Ramamurthy)," explains the Channel 4 synopsis.
"It’s not long before Mia’s past comes back to haunt her, leading Charlotte and Jacob to question who she really is, especially when patients at the hospital mysteriously start dying."
It looks like second season looks could be even more dramatic than the first.
