Sticky with maple syrup and mustard, these pork chops make a simple but sensational dinner every time, and ready in just 20min!
Apple is a classic partner to pork, and there’s no need to reach for a jar of apple sauce when you can cook apple wedges alongside the chops, where the air fryer will nicely caramelise their edges. You could swap the apple for chunky wedges of pear instead, if you prefer, or even sub in a stone fruit like peaches.
Some potato wedges or chunky chips would be great with this or just serve some crusty bread. We like a spoonful of coleslaw on the side too.

Can I use a different mustard?
Wholegrain mustard gives great pops of flavour and texture as well as mellow warmth, but if you’ve not got any Dijon would work well too.
What else can I do to add flavour?
Though we think these are pretty perfect just as they are, if you wanted to ring the changes add some herbs to the maple-mustard mixture, like thyme leaves or finely chopped rosemary, or a little pinch of chilli flakes if you want to make it a bit spicy.
Will this work with thinner chops?
Thick-cut chops are ideal as they are less likely to dry out (plus more meat = bonus!) but you can totally do this with thin-cut chops, start checking them after 10min, as they'll need a few mins less.
