Step 1
Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan) mark 6. Put chicken into a baking dish. Sprinkle generously with sea salt and cook for 30min
Step 2
Meanwhile, in a medium pan, heat oil and gently fry onion for 5min. Add remaining ingredients and stir. Bring to boil and bubble, stirring occasionally, for 18-20min until reduced.
Step 3
Remove chicken from oven. Turn up temperature to 220°C (200°C) mark 7. Pour sauce over chicken and mix to coat. Cook in oven for a further 15-20min until golden and sticky. Serve with fries and salad, if you like.
