Ingredients
5
English breakfast teabags
5Tbsp.
caster sugar
1
unwaxed lemon
Large handful of mint sprigs, plus extra to garnish
Juice of 1 lemon
750ml
chilled still lemonade
100ml
bourbon
Directions
Step 1In a large heat-proof jug, mix the teabags, caster sugar and 500ml just-boiled water, until the sugar dissolves. Leave to steep for 3-4min, then carefully lift out teabags, lightly squeeze and discard. Add 1 sliced unwaxed lemon and a large handful of mint sprigs.
Step 2Cool, then chill for at least 2hr (up to 12hr).
Step 3To serve, stir the juice of 1 lemon, lemonade and bourbon into the tea jug. Fill 6 tall glasses with ice and pour in the tea mixture. Garnish with mint sprigs and serve.
