An easy potato side dish, with no need for parboiling

new potatoes, halved (quartered if large)
2 sprigs fresh thyme, leaves picked
olive oil
2 garlic cloves
Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan) mark 6. In a large roasting tray, mix together the potatoes, thyme, and olive oil with plenty of seasoning.
Crush the unpeeled garlic cloves with the back of a knife and add to the tin. Roast for 35-40min until potatoes are golden brown, crisp and cooked through.
