Pigs in blankets are a must have over the festive season. Whether you serve them as a canapé or alongside your festive meal, the tasty morsels are essential. This year we have glazed them with maple syrup and Prosecco.

Ingredients

pigs in blankets

For the glaze

250 ml
prosecco
25 ml
runny honey
25 g
dark brown soft sugar
1 Tbsp.
Dijon mustard

Directions

1. Step 1Preheat oven to 190°C (170°C fan) mark 5. To make the glaze, in a small pan over high heat, bubble the prosecco until reduced to 50ml. Whisk in the remaining glaze ingredients and some seasoning and bubble for a few min more, stirring occasionally.
2. Step 2Empty the sausages into a small-medium roasting tin. Pour in the glaze and mix to coat. Cook in the oven for 25-30min, tossing midway through. Allow to cool for 5min before serving.
