When you’ve got a big event in the diary, the last thing you want is a fatigued complexion as your plus-one. Just ask Hannah Waddingham, who has taken what she calls her ‘tiiiiiiired’ skin to her favourite superfacialist Shane Cooper for a gorgeous glow up.

The actress shared her gratitude and newly-revived complexion on Instagram, thanking Shane for ‘ALWAYS stepping in when my skin is tiiiiiiired and needs nurturing and rehydrating like a biatch! 😂🙈🛫🛬🛫🛬!!’

It appears likely that Hannah’s latest skin refresh was prompted by a very special occasion: the wedding of her makeup artist and best friend Sophie Scarlett Roberts. Hannah shared photos of herself celebrating the big occasion, and a separate post explaining why it wasn’t just the bride who was looking utterly radiant.

To find out more, we asked Shane to share the secrets of Hannah’s radiant complexion – and how she keeps the glow going for as long as possible.

‘Hannah is such a beautiful person inside and out,’ Shane tells GH. ‘Like anybody, she enjoys looking good and feeling comfortable in her own skin. We never discuss personal details about clients, but I can say she is thoughtful about looking after herself and has enjoyed my facials and skincare for many years, especially the Shane Cooper Oxygenation Mask, the Hyaluronic Mist and the Hyaluronic Boosting Serum. All incredible for hydration and rejuvenation that you can use at home to maintain the glow.’

Hannah’s treatment was based on Shane’s bespoke approach, which has made him a firm favourite of everyone from Sienna Miller to Cara Delevingne. ‘We always begin by looking at how the skin is presenting on the day,’ he explains. ‘After a busy summer it is usually about rehydrating, restoring glow and calming any sensitivity, while always keeping the results fresh and natural.’

Having gone through Hannah’s skin goals, Shane treated the actress to his ‘Exclusive Face Treatment’, explaining: ‘It’s completely bespoke and tailored at the moment of the treatment. It does not involve injectables.’ Instead, his approach involves a pick and mix of non-invasive technologies, matched to what the skin needs.

For clients like Hannah, that might include ‘micro-currents to tone facial muscles, tri-polar radio frequency to stimulate collagen, tailored oxygen therapy for an instant glow, ultrasound infusion to push actives deeper, LED light to promote repair and lymphatic drainage to de-puff and detoxify.’ Whew – we'll have what she's having.

Like all Shane’s clients, Hannah is advised to follow a careful post-treatment regime. Shane tells GH: ‘After a treatment it is always best to let the skin settle gently. I advise avoiding heat and very strenuous activity for the rest of the day, keeping the focus on hydration and a calm, protective routine with daily SPF.’

To preserve Shane's good work for longer, Hannah is a huge fan of his Oxygen Mask, a two-minute home treatment which is designed to be used 2–3 times per week to boost her skin regime. She's described it as 'absolutely brilliant, totally worth the money'. With glowy skin like that, we 100% take her at her word.
