First this week, we’ve had Teri Hatcher announcing a new Desperately Devoted podcast, which will see her deep-dive into the show alongside her daughter, Emerson Tenney, and her onscreen daughter, Andrea Bowen.
Now Eva Longoria has added to the nostalgia vibes with a new (yet old) hair style that looks uncannily like her Desperate era ’do.
Her hairdresser Justine Marjan shared an intriguing new Instagram post, simply captioned 🤎 @evalongoria 🤎 #justinemarjanhair.

A scroll back through the archives confirms that it’s very reminiscent of Eva’s time playing Gabrielle Solis, both in terms of the colour and big, glamorous waves. And while it’s been more than two decades since we first met Gabrielle, Eva, 50, hardly seems to have aged since her time in the suburb of Fairview. In fact, she even joked herself about how kind time has been to her looks on a TV show where she talked about the show’s 20th anniversary.
‘Yes, 2004! 20. And I haven’t aged,’ Eva joked at the time, before hastily clarifying: ‘I’m kidding, I’m kidding!’ I look soo… I was a baby.’
Over the years, Eva has actually been candid about the changes she’s seen to her hair, particularly her ongoing battle against greying.
You may recall the 2020 lockdown videos she posted in her role as a L’Oréal Paris ambassador, when she took her root growth into her own hands while salons were shut.
She went wildly viral with clips showing her colouring her own roots with L’Oréal Paris Excellence Creme and doing temporary touch-ups with the brand’s Magic Retouch spray.
It seems like Eva is happy to let her glam squad take charge of the colour makeovers these days, but it’s always good to have some DIY options in your locker. As any greying brunette will attest, dealing with roots is a constant cycle of monthly upkeep!
