If there’s one person who always keeps the GH beauty team on their toes, it’s Pamela Anderson. The actress turned beauty icon has long been rewriting the rulebook – from trailblazing the no-makeup movement, to channelling her inner Grace Kelly with vintage waves. And now, she’s trading in the old Hollywood glam for something even more unexpected, and undeniably preppy.
Last night, Pamela stepped out in the Big Apple for an evening out to celebrate Pandora’s latest launch, attending as a global ambassador for the brand. While she’s been redefining her image for years, this look had us completely entranced. A world away from her Baywatch days, she appeared preppy, polished and as chic as ever.
Parted on the opposite style than usual, Pamela completely switched up her bob – proving that short hair is more versatile than you think, all it takes is some clever styling. Her hair fell into a sweeping side-fringe, a completely new style, contrasting the swept-back volume she’s opted for in recent red-carpet appearances.

Instead of soft glam waves, Pamela opted for a fresh, flicky bob with plenty of bounce. The rounded shape framed her face beautifully, softening her features. Her hair fell above her shoulders, flicking upwards at the ends. The overall effect felt sleek and polished, while the flicks added a touch of playful energy.
‘I love this look on Pammy - it’s such a strong moment for her,’ says Jonathan Andrew, Fudge Professional ambassador, ‘it’s nothing too overdone or perfected, just beautifully effortless. It ties perfectly with her softer styling choices, showing that you don’t have to go super short as you get older; it’s about finding the right cut and finish to suit your face shape. That’s what makes this look so timeless and chic.’
The best part? You don’t need a glam squad on speed dial to recreate the style. As Becky Sutherland, OSMO brand ambassador, explains: ‘To recreate the look at home, start with freshly washed, dry hair and apply styling foam for body and lift. Blow-dry with a round brush to achieve that flicky movement, then smooth the ends with a flat iron,’ she explains, ‘lock the style in place with a light mist of hairspray for hold without stiffness. And, for a glossy, high-shine finish, add a touch of serum.’
As for the rest of her beauty look, Pamela stayed true to her signature pared-back approach, embracing an au naturel look. Her skin looked absolutely radiant and fresh. The secret? There is none. In case you didn’t already know, Pamela is a co-founder of Sonsie skincare and has attributed her glowing skin to the Sonsie Daily Essentials Bundle.
As usual, makeup was kept to an absolute minimum, with the exception of a glossy balm swept across her lips (if we had to guess, we’d say it’s her very own Sonsie Basic Balm).
Her outfit perfectly tied the preppy theme together. Pamela layered a silky, crisp, cream collared shirt beneath a black one, cinching in her waist with a matching paperbag waist midi-skirt and a slim belt to break up the look. Of course, she accessorised with an abundance of Pandora necklaces, layered, adding an edgier twist to the outfit. She finished the look with glossy, black patent Mary Janes – a polished style classic.
Pamela is proof enough, preppy is back in for autumn – and we’re already adding this look to our moodboard.
