A quick, easy, and delicious pasta that uses common pantry items makes dinner a snap.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. penne pasta
  • 2 can tuna
  • 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped pitted Kalamata olives
  • salt
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves

Directions

    1. Step 1Heat large covered saucepot of salted water to boiling on high. Cook penne pasta as label directs.
    2. Step 2Heat tuna and crushed red pepper in 5-quart saucepot on medium for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    3. Step 3Stir marinara sauce, chopped Kalamata olives, and 1/8 teaspoon salt. Cook 5 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
    4. Step 4Add cooked pasta to pot with sauce along with torn fresh basil leaves.
    5. Step 5Toss until pasta is well coated. Garnish with additional basil, if desired.
