Danielle Fishel is ready to hit the ballroom this fall—but it looks like she may have spilled the beans early to two important men in her life.

Dancing With the Stars revealed its star-studded season 34 cast on Good Morning America on September 3, with Danielle being one of the 14 contestants competing. As the cast and pros sat down to talk about what to expect this season (season 34 premieres on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 on ABC and Disney+), Danielle was singled out for being recognized for portraying Topanga Lawrence on Boy Meets World throughout its seven-season run in the 1990s.

Given how Danielle is currently the co-host of the Pod Meets World podcast with former co-stars Rider Strong (who played Shawn Hunter) and Will Friedle (who portrayed Eric Matthews), GMA host Lara Spencer asked if she told them ahead of the casting news breaking online. As it turned out, Danielle had a candid comment about if Rider and Will knew—along with any advice they may have had for her latest gig.

"I did, which means I broke my NDA," she laughed in a clip posted on Instagram. "I did pretty much call them immediately—we had some scheduling things I had to work out! But they were very excited for me and they did not give me any advice, which is probably for the best because neither one of them have any dance experience either!"

Even though Danielle didn't necessarily stay quiet in telling Rider and Will, fans were thrilled to discover how good of a job she did at keeping her DWTS casting announcement quiet on social media.

"Ohhhh love this! Excited to see Topanga dance!!! 🥰," one person cheered on in the comments. "MY FAV DANIELLE!! 🥰🫶🏾," another exclaimed. "Let's go Danielle 🔥," a different follower added.

Now, fans know Danielle played Topanga on Boy Meets World from 1993 to 2000, where her character was a love interest for Cory Matthews (played by Ben Savage). And while she's been able to share her acting experience on Pod Meets World every week, she also added how excited she is to learn a new skill from her DWTS partner, Pasha Pashkov.

"I've already just adopted so much of [dancing]," she added. "[Pasha] is the best teacher, so I've already ... I'm just like a sponge, and I want to learn from everybody here."

Well, let's keep our fingers crossed Danielle brings some of Boy Meets World to the ballroom in a few weeks!
