Ingredients

  • 1/2

    8-oz tub sugar cookie dough

  • Green food coloring

  • 2

    graham crackers

  • 2

3- to 5-oz boxes instant or cook-and-serve chocolate pudding

  • Milk, for pudding

  • 1

3- to 4-oz bar bittersweet chocolate, chopped

  • Assorted cookies, for tombstones

  • 1

3- to 4-oz bar white chocolate, chopped

  • Chocolate candy rocks

  • Granola, for decorating

  • 1

    cups Oreos, crushed, for "dirt"

  • Candy bones, for decorating

Directions

    1. Step 1Heat oven to 350°F. Mix cookie dough with 3 drops green food coloring until fully incorporated, adding additional food coloring until dough is darkish green. Roll between 2 pieces parchment or wax paper to 1/4 in. thick. Slide onto baking sheet and bake until set and beginning to brown around edges, 12 to 15 min.; let cool.
    2. Step 2Meanwhile, prepare pudding per pkg. directions and refrigerate at least 30 min., up to 1 day before using.
    3. Step 3While pudding chills, microwave chocolate in small bowl in 20-sec. increments, stirring between each, until melted and smooth. Transfer to resealable or piping bag and snip off corner. Pipe “RIP” and dates on assorted cookies to make tombstones. Repeat with white chocolate to decorate any chocolate cookies; let set.
    4. Step 4Break green cookie into pieces and transfer to resealable plastic bag along with graham crackers.  Using wooden spoon or rolling pin, crush cookies to create crumbs for “moss,” adding additional graham crackers to reach desired color.
    5. Step 5When ready to assemble, combine candy rocks and granola in bottom of large glass jar. Top with pudding. Sprinkle with Oreo “dirt,” then cookie “moss.” Insert tombstones and scatter with candy bones as desired.
